Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Mechanics work with team members to provide general maintenance of ground service equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
Primary Responsibilities
Diagnosing, repairing, and replacing faulty parts and equipment while operating tools and machinery
Troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems, transmissions, and other equipment deficiencies
Performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, filter changes and tune-ups
Moving and servicing various types of equipment safely and efficiently
Ensuring the accuracy of information through various means of communication (radio, telephone, electronic, etc.)
Working closely with all team members and crew members to ensure proper equipment maintenance
Handling of aviation fuels and chemicals, including maintaining quality control of fuel through various procedures and completing applicable paperwork/documentation
Performing facilities maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Performing other duties as assigned
