Job Description

The Safety & Training Manager is part of the FBO Management team and provides training to ground support and customer service staff assisting arriving/departing aircraft, crew members, and passengers.

Primary Responsibilities
• Working closely with all locations to ensure the culture of safety management is respected by all
• Analyzing accidents/incidents and preparing risk analysis to address root causes
• Monitoring and tracking all SMS reports and safety risk profiles; ensuring corrective action is taken
• Managing the Company's electronic safety management reporting system
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Company's internal safety audit plan
• Planning, organizing, and delivering training to ground support staff
• Reviewing, auditing, and creating safety and training documentation
• Assisting in ground support services for private, military, and air carrier aircraft and passengers as needed
• Marshalling, chocking, and wing walking during aircraft movements and parking
• Performing other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Must possess strong knowledge of business aviation ground handling operations and safety
• Ability to operate computer and type effectively

• Ability to pass drug screen
• Ability to pass criminal history records check and airport badging requirements

Education
• High school diploma or GED
