Job Description

The Director of Business Development fosters existing customer relationships and cultivates new opportunities in the Business and General Aviation (B&GA) sectors to create business opportunities that support the company’s strategic growth plan.
Primary Responsibilities
• Overseeing and directing the company’s business development strategies
• Identifying and developing new revenue lines and locations
• Developing, cultivating and managing strategic relationships in the B&GA sectors
• Establishing of rates and charges
• Negotiating contracts as well as airline into-plane fueling and ground handling agreements
• Facilitating airport real estate development and hangar leasing
• Preparing and responding to airport bids and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Supporting of station level revenue and cost initiatives
• Analyzing and interpreting business financials
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Physical Requirements

Other Requirements
• 10 years aviation industry experience
• 5 years business development experience within the aviation industry
• Ability to write legibly
• Ability to operate computer and type effectively
• Ability to pass drug screen
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance
• Master’s degree preferred
